Building Faith, Education & Community - One Life at a Time
To nurture a holistic Islamic lifestyle through accessible education, compassionate service, and community empowerment - grounded in Qur’anic values, Sunnah, and practical skills development for all ages.
For over 40 months, the North West Islamic Centre (NWIC - 9457831761) has served as a beacon of hope, learning, and unity in the North West community. What began as a vision has grown into a vibrant hub offering daily Islamic schooling (Medressa), nutritious feeding schemes, adult education, skills development, and a dedicated prayer hall - all under one roof.
NWIC exists to support families who cannot afford quality Islamic education, to feed the hungry with dignity, and to equip youth and adults with both spiritual grounding and practical trades such as woodworking, plumbing, and building. The centre’s fully equipped kitchen sustains daily meal programs and Ramadan iftaar gatherings, while its multipurpose function hall hosts weddings, community events, and international gatherings (Jamaats) - 15 to date.
With approved zoning for an Islamic funeral preparation facility and plans for eight income-generating mini-stores, NWIC is designed to be self-sustaining, accredited, and deeply embedded in the social fabric of the North West - nurturing a complete Muslim lifestyle from cradle to career.
In a region where quality Islamic education is often out of reach, NWIC provides free access to Qur’anic studies, academic support, and moral development - five days a week. The centre goes further by:
